What is DTF?

DTF (Direct to Film) is a modern print method where designs are printed onto a special film and heat pressed onto fabric. The process uses colour and white inks with an adhesive layer to create bold, high-detail prints that stand out on both light and dark garments. It allows for sharp detail, vibrant colours, and photo-quality results—all without the limitations of traditional methods like screen printing or vinyl.

This new printing service coming soon to Phat Prints. DTF works great on cotton, polyester, blends, and even some tricky fabrics that other methods struggle with.

Build or upload your own Gangsheet

A gang sheet is a single transfer sheet that allows you to place multiple designs into one layout. Instead of printing each design individually, you can combine logos, graphics, and different sizes onto one sheet—maximising space and reducing cost.

Once printed, each design can be cut out and applied separately, giving you flexibility across multiple garments or placements.

Using our website tool, you can upload your own ready-made layout or utilise our builder tool to arrange your designs. For best results, files should be high resolution and set up exactly as you want them printed. Gang sheets are a smart, efficient way to streamline production and get more value from every print run.
